Here’s a suggestion to all those in the sphere trying to make a case for their candidate: check your spelling.  It’s hard on the readers and it makes you look stupid.   A comment section on a blog doesn’t have to be a crystal chandelier but it doesn’t have to look like the floor in a well used truck stop restroom.  More effort people, more effort.

As a long-suffering Minnesota Vikings fan, I was delighted to hear from Nita Lowey on Meet the Press that being down over a hundred delegates is a tie.    I guess that means that the Vikings have, in fact, tied four Superbowls.  Sweet!

There are plenty of reasons political campaigns may turn people off or make them want to throw up everything they’ve ever eaten.  This is one of them.

Like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, apparently the Clintons and Rush Limbaugh are frenemies.  One of the great moments of Clinton hypocrisy comes in the first indent under Left Field:

Interestingly, the Clinton campaign has engaged in the most unusual tactic of embracing the right in order to wrestle from Obama a nomination that would seem to be his based upon math alone. One thing that seems to have escaped scrutiny up until now is that years after Rush Limbaugh called Bill Clinton’s daughter a dog, the former president was actually a guest on Limbaugh’s show.

Poor David Shuster.  Maybe he should have gone with a straight-up revolting remark instead of making a fair point using an ill-chosen word.  If Texas was the Clinton’s’ goal, then getting into bed with Rush was scarcely worth the short term thrill and that itching, oozing sore it leaves might be a real drag.

Dear States That Considered Moving Up Their Primaries or Caucuses But Didn’t Because of Those Pesky DNC Rules,

Suckers!

Everyone who doesn’t think Florida and Michigan should have consequences and in fact should get some kind of reward for their rule-breaking.

If you support Barack Obama and have considered developing a drinking problem (but haven’t had the proper motivation), may I suggest The Democratic Daily.  It is dazzling “common sense conversation” that is best read while listening to “I Am Woman” and wearing something stretchy from Chicos.  I tease.  They are at their best when they write about why they are for Hillary, rather than against Obama.  Her campaign could take a cue from that.  At any rate, a pro-Hillary site is not something one sees out in the sphere so it is a good place to go to see the other side of things and that never hurt anyone.   Wherever you end up for your political news and opinion fix, side of fries encourages you to read and drink responsibly.

Somedays I wish I had Tourette’s Syndrome.  I could let loose a torrent of expletives and unpleasantries about Hillary Clinton and not feel like that tool Sean Hannity.

I have a few problems with Florida: bad driving, large reptiles, Disney World and apparently a REALLY hard time with this whole voting thing.   Sorry, no do overs and no seating of the delegates.  I don’t care what Governor Charles in Charge says.  We know his game despite his totally tanned and earnest proclamation that voters be given a voice.   Maybe his voice and Hillary’s voice can go make out in a corner and give the rest of us a break.

Update: You know what’s been missing in this election: more special interest groups and money.  Good lord.  I am going to need to eat several pints of ice cream if this perversion of democracy goes forward.   The article doesn’t say it, but Bill Nelson is supporting Hillary Clinton so I’m sure she’s down with this racket.
