This is fun.  I wonder how the Lizard People would handle the economy.

Congress is center-right and I’m 125 pounds.  These two things are only true if we’ve taken a way back machine to the mid 90s.

…I can say one nice thing about Tom Petty.  He doesn’t look like Martina Navratilova.

The real nice thing …  I really like “Last Dance With Mary Jane” and Oh my my, oh hell yes is a great rock lyric.  I would stitch that on a pillow.

Michele Bachmann is great for my self-esteem.  She does not appear to understand how recording devices operate.  I’m not talking on a mechanical level, just in a basic if I say something moronic into a microphone that is hooked up to a recording doohickey I can’t later pretend it never happened and call it an urban legend sort of way. I rule.

Yes we can became yes we did.  To quote Ebby Calvin “Nuke” LaLoosh, “I f-ing love winning man, you know what I’m saying?  It’s like better than losing.”  It sure is.

PS: Vikings beat the Packers today too.  It’s a good week for America.

Wake up.
Shower (or not).
Eat breakfast.
Brush your teeth.
Ask everyone you see if they’ve voted.
Walk or drive.
Get in line.
Wait.
Wait longer.
Wait as long as it takes.
Vote.
Ask everyone you see if they’ve voted.
It’s that important.
Let’s do this thing.

That’s what I did during my 5K yesterday.  A wrong turn sent me a half mile out of my way and up a massive hill and when I tried to right my course, I unwittingly missed the turn again.  I kept running along thinking I would eventually get back on track and I did, with about a quarter mile to go.  I probably ran a 5K, (just not the one I supposed to) but feeling sort of guilty and stupid, I copped to my roundabout run and didn’t actually submit my name.  Still, I can be found at number 42 as noname noname.

In about an hour I’ll start my final 5K of the year.  I haven’t run at all these last three weeks or exercised much.  It could be ugly out there today.  Still, I think I can run it in 34 minutes so that’s my goal.
