Honest to god … what are people thinking when they do this?

I’m so lazy I’ve been sitting on this post for days

I guess this about sums it up.  I would add regret and relaunch between 7 and 8:

1) Euphoric moment of inspiration
2) Pseudo-maniacal and self-indulgent perusing of domains
3) Careful consideration of theme and design
4) The inaugural post – “Hello world!”
5) The 2-4 post honeymoon phase
6) Waning and changing interests
7) Feelings of desperation and apathy from low engagement

Inevitable abandonment

I’m not at abandonment.  Congested and back at it today.  And even tomorrow.

Or do.  It’s okay.  And accurate.  Here’s the thing, despite the fact the space in my head has been filled with thoughts of preschool paperwork, planning two September vacations, making time for two sets of visiting parents, simplifying my home life, and figuring out how stop eating things that are terrible for me, I still skim over 100 news items a day and read about 40 in full.  And I have lots of opinions and witty things to say!   I just never get to the writing part.  For the next month I will endeavor to get a few posts out a week, update the site a bit and starting at the end of September, daily posts.  Every day!  Probably more on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I’m loitering in a coffee shop waiting to pick up my kiddo from her liberal nature preschool where she will learn how to grow things, take care of animals and hate America.

And now I have to attend a tea party event with my daughter and fourteen stuffed animals.

Ms. Grifter Junior has a new book about her life including how she got drunk on wine coolers (did she have 25 of them?) and ended up pregnant.   I think I can watch Teen Moms on MTV for free and see the same story AND it will be Palin-free.  Bonus.
